My name is Jacques van Biljon, and I have been working in the financial sector for more than 28 years.
I’m a person who naturally loves what I do because I’ve spent so much time in the same industry, but I’ve always been a person who would much rather help others than help myself. Unfortunately, I’ve come to realize that if we want to achieve our life goals and dreams, we’re not going to do it with a traditional “paycheck to paycheck” system, not with day-to-day expenses increasing on an almost daily basis.
Sometimes it’s not always just about money, but also about the recognition received for doing a good job. Being recognized for the hard work done gives you satisfaction, a sense of self belief and that your contribution is valued and is worth something.
